RESEARCH PROPOSAL

1.      Title/topic (interesting, important, meaningful, contributive, state in effective/clear phrase, not too specific)

2.      Introduction: (positioning the importance of the topic)

-     Background (Pre-research/observation on existing problems/gaps (comparing hope—mission statement by government --and fact—factual settings of the problems), previous/similar research findings (assumption/ promoting/predicting solution)

-     Problem statement (better in questions—focus of the research)

-     Research Purpose (see the problems stated)

-     Hypothesis (if any)

-     Terminology (important aspect-- scientific manipulation/limitation)

3.      Frame of Theory—related/relevant theories, up to date less then 10 years—correct quotation,  (Lit.review)

Survey on Similar research findings!

4.      Research Methodology

-     Method---why this design? (relevant, accurate to…)

-     Sample/population/

subject (---qualitative or quantitatvie--)

-     Instruments to collect the data—valid:(test, questionnaires, interview guidelines, observation checklist, field note--)

-     Data Analysis (classification, tabulation, confirmation, triangulation,

Scoring, tabulation/table, calculating/formula, interpreting)

5.      Timeline (your own schedule of conducting the research)

6.      References (relevant sources—not many from internet—up to date)

7.      Appendices (model of the instruments used)
